CURVE FILL FROM CENTER CURVE
This tool allows ‘filling in’ the center portion of the scalp, given that the ‘outer’ curves are present.
1. make sure you select the ‘outer’ curves in a clockwise or counterclockwise order, and select “Define Selected Curve’
1. make sure you select the ‘outer’ curves in a clockwise or counterclockwise order, and select “Define Selected Curve’
2. Then click on “Generate Center Curve”, this will give you a curve named “xgtCenterCurve”. Move the CVs of this curve to best fit the ‘center’ of your overall shape.
3. You can then fill in either one layer of curves at a time with the “Fill” button, or fill in multiple layers with the ‘Auto Fill’ button.
- Distance - is the distance from the “center curve” to be filled in from
- Offset - if you would like the new curve to be placed in the ‘middle’ of the outer curves, leave offset at 0.5
- Number of Layers: determines the numbers of curve layers to be auto populated
NOTE: For inner layers, sometimes you may not want the same number of curves to be generated, in this case, you can use the 'Select Every Other Curves on List' button to select half of the defined curves, then 'define selected curve' again. This will then define half of the curve amount.
