SOLUTION:

• Please make sure that you have downloaded the correct Groomer's Tool version files for your Maya version.
• Please browse to your Documents\maya\<Version>\prefs\scripts.
• Locate xgtc folder and delete it. Try launching Groomer's Tool again.​
