Gumroad:
- Please Go to your Gumroad's download page, and download Groomer's Tool with the correct Maya version you want to run with. Currently tested/supported versions are Maya 2020, 2022, 2023.
- Whenever there's a future update, please go back to this Gumroad page to update your files.
Unpacking: ( V08.01 and earlier versions)
- Un-zip the downloaded .zip file.
- Copy the entire xgtc folder to your users’ Documents\maya\version folder. On my PC, the path is as follows: C:\Users\blues\OneDrive\Documents\maya\2022\scripts
- Open the icon folder and select all. Copy all icons
- Paste into Maya’s icon folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2022\icons
- NOTE: this is the "Program File" folder that you installed Maya in. It is NOT the same as "user document" folder, where we put our xgtc folder
